What should I upload to create Shopify product images?
Start with a clear, well-lit photo of the actual product. Add another angle when important details are hidden. Include the intended gallery ratio, visual style and any label text that must remain accurate.
Can I make a set of images for the same product?
You can use the same reference and visual brief to request a clean product shot, a lifestyle scene and detail views. Review each result for consistent color, proportions and product information; using one reference does not guarantee identical product details across the set.
Will the product and label stay exactly the same?
Reference images guide generation, but the results can change labels, proportions, colors and visible features. Compare each result with the actual product and request revisions where needed. Use only images that accurately represent what you sell.
What size should my Shopify product images be?
A square 2048 × 2048 px image is Shopify’s usual recommendation. Keep the main images in a consistent ratio and check your theme’s presentation. Use the size guide on this site to review upload limits and export checks.
